My Life Re-Purposed
Greetings!
I know, I know… long time, no post! But, I’ve been a busy bee!
I’ve repurposed every…thing in my room that I can get my paws on ( borrowing a couple of tools from the garage of course).
I’ve managed to change my entire room completely. It’s actually pretty awesome,
I’ll try and get good pictures and post them up soon (I’m not quite finished yet… almost!).
Anyway, the whole “repurposing everything” around my room and organizing every scrap of art material, supply and artwork I’ve ever owned, got me thinking “HEY! why don’t I repurpose some of my old artwork?” You know… that drawing you did that you just loved one part of it, but absolutely hated the entire piece? Well I usually cut the stuff I like out of those horrible drawings and save them in a little paper bag. I have a whole pile of them and I’ve done some really cool stuff with them lately. Remember the Black bird project? well… I had a few leftover cool scraps from that project and turned it into this:
Sorry the pictures are kind of terrible. My scanner is literally up in the air at the moment, and I can’t get anything scanned.
I hope this post inspired some of you tortured artists out there, that make millions of drawings that never make it into anything useful.
Well now those drawings have a purpose : )
